Group Assignment Reflection Paper

In my astronomy lab, we were assigned a group assignment on the lunar phases. My group was group number three and contained a total of six members in it, including: Molli Weeks, Hope Wallace, Avery Albas, Aubrecia Barree, Detericka Chambers and myself. This assignment required us to collaborate thoughts as well as opinions so that we could effectively work together in a group setting. Our group equally contributed both a fair amount of knowledge and effort in order to properly complete the assignment in a timely manner.
Prior to coming to class, Hope Wallace had already started the lab assignment, therefore she was able to give the group a heads up on what the assignment would be about. Hope Wallace also stayed a few minutes after our group

She was able to explain the concept of the assignment to the group. We turned in Molli’s copy of the assignment because she was able to contribute her neat and organized hand writing to this assignment. Molli kept a fast pace so our group could finish in a timely manner and stay on topic.
Avery Albas was a great listener during the power point that was shown to us beforehand, therefore she was able to contribute the things she learned from the lecture to our assignment. Avery worked very well with the entire group and kept a positive attitude while we did on the assignment. Aubrecia Barree had also begun to work on the assignment prior to class. She was able to provide information on where the material could be found in our textbook. We used the textbook to check and compare our answers. Aubrecia’s prior information allowed our group to stay ahead of other groups in the classroom. Detericka Chambers helped our group stay on topic and focused while we worked on the assignment. She was very positive and organized throughout the assignment. She worked very well with everyone in the group and participated equally in the

Madison Sauter: The thing that I remembered most about her interview was her mentioning how she was a team oriented person. I think that the inclusion of this quality helps to support her story and add diversity to her skills. Additionally, it shows the interviewer that she has a interest in the satisfaction of her co-workers. This is important because she displays a need to create the best and most efficient environment for herself and her co-workers.…

Statement of Resolution: "Be it resolved that capitalism provides the most effective economic structure for society" Issue Position: The issue position of capitalism being the most effective economic structure for society did change before the debate. Before this course, I did not know grammar well, and what I did know I did not fully understand. Yet, due to taking the course, I learned more about the structure of the English language, and can use grammar better than I did before. For instance, the first three major assignments were filled with missing comas, verb-tense misuses, and run-on sentences. Now, I may still make mistakes, but I know why I have made them. In other English courses, I had grammar homework and reading assignments that, often, seemed to be busy work, but with this course, I did not think that was the case.…

Throughout the year, as a class we have been given many different challenges in either the form of an essay, speech, or group presentation. The final assignment given to us was a group project presentation. From growing up in an age filled with technology, I have come to love projects that revolve around making some form of a PowerPoint presentation. This PowerPoint though, was both difficult and interesting for the reasons of being assigned group members not of my own choosing, learning to listen to others ideas which can help me to learn something new, and using former knowledge while working together to create a clean, in depth, and well prepared presentation. With working in groups of students whom I have known since I was young but…
