The importance of the discussions with the other groups was that we learned about the different opinions that the different groups at the Convention had, and how we could work together to get what we want. Another lesson I learned was that you have to be careful when bartering with other groups, because you don’t want to give away some of your group’s plans, or reveal something that could cause them to go against you.
