I. Summarize and assess the written evaluations of your group presentation. Discuss the reactions you and your group had to this feedback. What, if anything, would you want to change about your group’s preparation and presentation? Be specific.
The written assessments had good reviews. Almost all of our evaluations were fives all the way down. There was less than 5 fours total for the scale questions on the evaluations. All of the comments were very positive. The written comments were things like “great activity,” “fun activity,” “great job,” etc. The only thing that might change about our presentation/activity would be putting a big bowl or bucket in the middle of the circle of the group for participants to put their toilet paper squares

We ended a little bit quicker than we anticipated and doing a run through of the activity might have helped. Even if we had done a run through beforehand, I’m not sure if it would have given us a good enough idea of how long the activity was going to take with the class because of the difference in the amount of people. We ended up liking some of our impromptu questions that we asked during the presentation better than the questions we had planned to ask.

All of us shared responsibility for communication and contributed our share of meaningful insights to whatever topic or task. We certainly got off topic occasionally because we enjoyed talking with each other, but we always accomplished our tasks for our group sessions. The sociometric patterns of our group varied. When splitting up tasks, often the same dyad and triad formed to accomplish individual tasks. I often worked with Ashlee on tasks while Mariana, Tali, and Tara worked together. We all got along really well, but I know that I worked really well with Ashlee because we have similar work styles. Our decision-making process usually was a consensus. The decisions we had to make were never really serious decisions to make so it was easy to decide by consensus. None of us were really committed to having it our way so it was easy to discuss what we thought would work best and then do that.
