This was our last meeting we did ask the students to please continue utilizing the information they received throughout the group process to help the until they graduate high school and possibly college. We asked them to please continue sharing the provided information and skills with their community and friends.
Analysis of the Student Social Worker’s Practice
The social worker’s in this session assured that the meeting would be in a safe establishment. I made sure that every student was able to share their experience with the group along with one thing they got out of this experience. The social workers advocated for the students by supplying some study tips and by making sure they each had a chance to get the same treatment. I have noticed in the past that if students feel left out or disrespected they will certainly lose faith and interest in the group. I have also noticed in the past that if students feel left out or disrespected they will surely lose faith and interest in the group. The social worker made sure to keep things under control by quickly dispersing and redirecting matters back to order to avoid a chance of conflicts. The social workers also reminded the parents the this was their last session. They also got thanked the parents for allowing them to attend the meeting. The parents thanked us, while some added that the information we provided had a positive impact on their child’s grades and study habits. …show more content…
