In the beginning of the course, my group was instructed by the professor to come up with a contract that all the group members will apply effort to participate with the assigned group assignments. The contract entails being able to communicate with all group members , complete assignments in a timely manner, being open to ask questions , express concerns, attend meetings and being responsible with completing assigned tasks..

I personally felt as if group members could have put in more effort when it came to the overall group participation.
VII. What degree did your group achieve the specific elements of the mutually agreed upon contract?
I personally felt as if my group did not follow all the elements we had agreed upon in the contract. One of the situations I had encountered through the process of trying to finish the group theory project was members not attending scheduled meeting times.
Another element that some members did not adhere to was turning work in at a timely manner. For example, the first group project we agree as a group that members would send their slides to me so I could put the power point together. Members did not send their work to me at a respectable time. I was still receiving emails the day after we all agree to have the presentation done. I also had to go back and correct grammar mistakes and ask individuals to make sure they incorporated all the required information that was asked of them.
VIII. List group members, describe the member contribution to the

Another suggestion is to make sure everyone is aware of their role will reduce the stresses you may have of your group members not doing the assignment in full entirety.
Last suggestion would be to assign group members specific roles that will fit adequate with their strengths.

Overall experience in the small group I felt as if we would have met more and completed the assignments in appropriate time it would made me feel better about how successful the group would have been in our group assignments.
As a group the way the members met my social emotional needs is being able to complete the tasks and doing well in our group presentations.

The main challenge of this group situation is that there was a sudden rise of conflict among members at the beginning to mid phase of the project. This resulted the possible development of groupthink (Janis, 2008). As a leader in this situation, I would firstly feel lousy and disappointed in myself that I didn’t take note of group’s division and how the meeting could be more inclusive of everyone’s opinion (Chadha, 2016). However, at that point, I would also probably feel confused but yet curious as to why it was suddenly voiced out, hence thought that I should facilitate to explicit the thoughts and feelings of each member to better understand as well.…

I feel as if the group project could have been done a lot better I felt as there was more of a focus on getting to know one another rather than focusing on the assessment. Currently I am not as confident on working with individuals that I don’t know so well as I was when we first started as I realized not everyone in the group had the same approach towards the task as I did especially in terms of prioritization despite this I believe I am more confident in showing leadership as Staci and Emily had other commitments I attempted to accommodate for this by contacting them and working out times when they were both free I believe this was a positive thing as normally in group assessments I have a tendency to rely on other people to make decisions like this and it was a positive experience delegating rather than receiving tasks. Overall working with Staci and Emily was fine as I have a more passive personality in group assignments it was a good learning experience for me a study has also shown that working as group positively influences and facilitates an exchange of knowledge(Shaw, Mitchell and Del Fabbro, 2015) this definitely occurred during our group work when it came to elaborating on social determinants I was able to help both Staci and Emily better understand them while Staci assisted me in learning about the stream factors overall I believe we compensated very well for each other’s gaps of knowledge . On the other side of the spectrum our fourth member Louis was difficult to work with as he contacted us the weekend before the assignment was actually ready to present and this caused a lot of stress and panic, after talking to Emily and Staci they definitely felt the same way about the situation with…

During and after the group project I got a better understanding of NAVAL and a better understanding of my group. For example, Lexi is the leader of the group and Camille is the worker bee meaning that she is the one to go to for the information about the presentation. There were many high points in the group such as when we completed are power point early and when we researched the information. I had a blast working with them. A low point was when the video couldn’t load and we had to start from scratch again.…

This was carried out through comparing the survey results with the qualitative and quantitative representations we made in our project.…

In fact, my group members were very helpful and whenever one of us had trouble with something we would all participate in solving her problem or giving her helpful tips to solve it. By helping, supporting and motivating each other it made the project easier to solve and it helped us in achieving our work in the most effective time and ways. Here are some points I loved about the experience, firstly being a part of a group helped in developing my skills and we were able to achieve more work than in working individually. Secondly, we had more time to manage and plan. Thirdly I developed more communicating skills and team commitment and also I had more exchange of information between myself and our group members.…
