Something that will empowered the group members to lift up themselves and have a positive attitude in their life. It was a long journey, each time after our morning class, we tried to figure out what we were going to talk about and finally, one of our teammate came up with “Positive Affirmation.” I told them also about Self-Esteem but they wanted to stick with this topic and I told them that self-esteem and positive affirmation goes alone and there are agree with me to use it as the introduction of the topic. We didn’t have a formal meeting, but one person came up with the topic and details, gave us a copy, one did the PowerPoint and I did my research on self-Esteem and had some questions to evaluate the group members’ degree of confidence. Co-facilitated session plan For the purpose of this assignment, I propose to approach the hypothetical planning of a co-facilitated session with another party in three stages; pre-session, during the session and post- session. Pre-session I would consider the pre-session planning of a co-facilitated session with another party to be an imperative part of the process. As we would both need to work collaboratively throughout the process to help the group achieve goals, the main objective would be for us to meet well in advance of the meeting in order to get to know each other and establish a trusting and respectful relationship, whereby we would welcome constructive feedback and have the ability to work through any differences which may arise.…

However, due to the introductions that took place in the beginning stage, the entire group session felt incredibly comfortable. I made sure to get to know my peers and their experiences, and made sure they knew who their facilitator was as well. I often provided personal anecdotes to build upon the facilitation questions that I prepared, as sharing personal stories often helps me understand complex topics. I believe that the introduction of personal stories added another level of familiarity with the group members.…
