Group Client Reflection Paper

Clients first time in group.

Client introduced himself to other members and revealed his history of drug use. The client reported that he is committed to a life of sobriety. During group client acknowledged that he is HIV positive and has come to terms with diagnosis(continuing to live his life). The client reported having a new perspective on life and regrets unwittingly hurting people in his past including his daughter with selfish behavior. Group was supportive of client as he expressed his feelings. The client that reported that when he has completed treatment he will work with his father in family business located out of state. Client reported that he needs the change.

Client fully utilizes the group for support and trusts leader
