Teamwork is an important part of any success group progress and so we chose to include that in the assessment of our group and its processes over the quarter. We chose to focus on four of the group assignments for everyone to give their input on: Module 1 Individual Application Activity: Forming a Course Group, Identity Project Medium Approval and Draft Outline, Module 4 Group Application Activity: Group Process Discussion Activity, and Module 5 Group Application Activity: Analyzing Group Culture: The Guild.
When were were completing the first module assignment, Forming a Course Group, the experience of our past teamwork lead us to forming this group which we know would function well together. Our group had worked together in the past on various assignments and group projects. We had worked previously on a project with another class, so we knew how to work with each other, and what our strength and weakness were. This made forming the team a very easy and natural thing for us.
Our team struggled to interpret some of the instructions for the assignment, Identity Project Medium Approval and Draft Outline. This multi question essay was broken down so each person had a similar level of work to do, people who got less questions to answer were also given additional responsibilities, such as editing, to make everything fair. Though we worked well together on the assignment, we had missed that we had needed to reference the book for the assignment and have used this experience as a reminder to do so in the assignments that came
