Images can be formed for various different entities, such as products, brands and organizations (Fombrun, 1996 and Lemmink et al., 2003), and countries (Passow et al., 2005). Image building is perceived as being strategically significant for several organizations, mainly for professional service providers (Zabala et al., 2005).
In recent years, governments have altered the approach used for funding institutions of higher education, with monetary support being more strongly associated to the outcome that educational institutions produce (Arnaboldi and Azzone, 2005 ; DeShields et al. 2005).
