1. There are four key psychological assets (interest, practice, purpose, and hope) that can be acquired and cultivated to improve your grittiness. I think this important because all of these assets are needed if you have a dream or a goal you want to achieve.
2. Grit is not something you are born with. It is something you developed over time and it can change from day to day.
3. I like how Angela Duckworth created a rule for her family where they have to do a hard thing for a certain amount of time. I think having that challenge does help keep motivation and interest, but also gives an opportunity to try something new.
