- William James has proposed two questions one on human abilities and the second on how individuals unleash their abilities. The first has been linked to the growing knowledge on learning more about IQ but the second hasn’t been able to solve completely on knowing why some people are more successful than others despite of equal intelligence. In my opinion, I am curious to know why is this the case too. For instance, why does my friend and I have equal GPA but she was able to find a job already and yet I am still actively looking for it? What makes her more successful than me holding grades equal?

- In study 1, it shows that holding education level equal, grit grows with age. I agree with this because I can see that from my parents. They are a lot older and have faced through numerous challenge to be where they are now.
