Grit In My Life Essay

Did you know that people who are gritty are more likely to complete their goal, unlike someone who does not have the passion for resolving? Some may say that you do not need the grit to accomplish a task, but if you put thought into it, nothing can happen without interest and hard work. In a TED Talk, Psychologist Angela Lee Duckworth informs, “...grittier kids were significantly more likely to graduate…” Therefore, putting more effort into your work will lead you to a satisfying result. Overall, grit is visible in my personal life, different forms of art, and in the world.
I had experienced grit before when it came to writing and my grade in the class. I truly care about my performance in writing and any subject in school because I know that I have pressure on me from home. Furthermore, I was struggling with my usage of high vocabulary words, making my sentences flow, and grabbing my readers into my text. I didn’t want to let my parents down; therefore, I tried my best to succeed. I did things such as reading books more often to enrolling in writing workshops. It was a great load of stress, and I believed if I tried my best I would be lead to my triumph. Additionally, I faced many failures in school work and summative tests. Hazel falls in love with the love of her life, Gus Waters, and they both partake in many incredible adventures. Unfortunately, the both of them start to suffer terribly from cancer and are both on the brink of death. Hazel has the courage to resolve; therefore, the main character’s strength from affection and bravery allows her to live her dream life. Grit is displayed by real life people from around the
