In the Grimm’s Snow White tale, a queen wishes for a daughter that is “as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as ebony wood” (Little Snow White). However, upon her daughter’s birth, the queen dies and her daughter is left to an atrocious step mother who is obsessed with being the most beautiful female in the land and once a magic mirror proclaimed that Snow White is the most beautiful in the land, the evil stepmother became incredibly envious, ordering a huntsman to murder Snow White. However, the huntsman sparred Snow White and with her chance to escape she ran deep into the woods coming upon a small house.
