Although directors make movies often times to impact people in different ways and the influence is real as they may affect the views of many regardless, when we are presented with history that influence is often times different. It’s like watching a scary movie, if you have two horror films both given the same quality rating, one fiction and the other nonfiction, which one would have the greater impact on you mentally? I would think it would have to be the one that is based on the true story just because it’s something that actually happened.
