The Grey Wolf or Canis lupus is a member of the class Mammalia. Special blood vessels keep paw pads from freezing in the snow. The Grey Wolf is an interesting animal.
Wild animals must develop structures or physical body parts for specific functions or jobs to help them survive. The Grey wolf has three important structures. The first is the fur,. Tthe animal's fur is thick to keep the wolf warm during the winter. The next structure is its paws,. special blood vessels keep paw pads from freezing and are able to traverse easily through a wide variety of terrains, especially snow. The third structure is its teeth,. This enables them to grasp their prey in their teeth and chew down to the soft marrow in the bones.
