In the epic poem, Beowulf, there are a variety of different events that take place. During these events, the poem establishes the different personalities of each character that shape them as the story goes on. The poem presents Beowulf as a mighty hero who is an upright individual. Although this is Beowulf’s presence throughout the poem, the two thousand and five movie presents Beowulf in a different way. During the film, Beowulf is presented as a courageous warrior, but lacking in morals. In this essay, a few of the major differences will be discussed.
