Greg’s flashback: The day I almost got away with it

His hand cuffed behind him, Greg sat in the dust besides the road. One of the policemen looked down at him and asked , “Do you want to tell us what happened?” Greg looked up for an instant, shook his head, and turned away.
He was still dazed by all that had happened. How did I let myself get into this mess? he asked himself. Slowy, his mind drifted back to events of the last hour. step by step, it all began happening over again in his head.
It was an ordinary day for Irvine and greg this morning he woke up brushed his teeth, washed his, got dressed.
Until he checked his phone he had gotten a five messages from, his friend jaylynn which jaylynn had written “got a fun friday

Jaylynn laughed, “There this thing that had came out it’s called a washer and dryer, you should try it” he reminded.
“Shut up” Greg requested while walking toward their school.
By the time the got in the outdoor hallway of their school the bell had rung.
Greg and Jaylynn parted ways and went to class .through 1-2 period he spent his time texting his friend about the fun friday night Jaylynn has planned for them,until the bell had rung for break.
Greg taking forever to pack up his stuff into his backpack by the time he had left class Jaylynn and Brianna,Eric,Jake were waiting for him outside the door.
Brianna walked to Greg and gave him a hug and teased “took you long enough, you act like you're trying to figure out how to fit five textbook into a purse”
Greg looked at brianna and pointed out “no that’s you with all that makeup you're wearing. She gave him a little punch in the shoulder and snapped “leave me alone” then covered her face.
“Oww that really hurt” greg screamed sarcastically.

The sound of sirens were heard, they look at each other with paranoid face.
Jaylynn flew to the exit towards the mountains they went.
"If we can get to the top of that little mountain we win and the police can't trace us the end of the race is hidden" he convinced himself while pointing toward the mountain.
"Pull over the vehicle "the police officer says.
"Greg switch with me if I get caught man I'm going to be charged as an adult and got to jail" Jaylynn cried.
Greg unbuckled his seatbelt and jumped to the seat with Jaylynn.
“Thanks” stressed Jaylynn while hopping to the passenger's seat.
Greg now driving, starts to drive up the mountain tilting to the right he picks up the speed and screech was the sound last sound the heard and thud ...
Greg I crashed crap the cops are right behind us he thought to himself.
"Guys we need to make a run for it" Greg yells.
He turns around to see blood everywhere and glass on top of them.
No no no this can't be happening there not dead no their just on concision can't be"he thought to himself,
"We have you surrounded step out the vehicle" the cop
