Anthropologist design a bunch of open-ended questions to draw out information from the subjects they interview. They also participate in cultural activities Most of the anthropologists take extensive field notes. Even though the interview might not have lasted long, but it takes maybe days for them to transcribe all the information down in their spreadsheets.
E. Engaged and Collaborative Ethnography
a. Collaborative Ethnography is doing research with another group of people and not by a single person. This way it’s not just one person writing about how they saw the people around him it’s a group with individual thoughts and different perspectives, and by doing this they can all agree what should go in.
F. Ethical Consideration in Fieldwork
a. Anthropologists have obligations to their sponsors and governments and to the public to respect the integrity and traditions of the people and the culture around them. If one anthropologist violate the traditions of the culture it is highly unlikely that those people will let other anthropologists into their
