Greetings Vickie,
Thank you for sharing your insights about the Adult Education program through your goals. It is important that adult learners understand and have the opportunity to become more knowledgeable about diversity. Diversity encompasses many different areas, many different forms, and many different perspectives. Your second goal to prepare adult learners to work in a diverse environment is an essential goal for success. What form of preparation will the adult learner be required have to work in a diverse environment and will they have the ability to transfer the preparation to other settings? What does involvement for the stakeholders and community entail or how will it be measured?

I did not get as many survey respondents as I was seeking. One main limitation of the study was not obtaining enough face-to-face interviews. I believe that more face-to-face interviews would give more examples of adult learner’s thoughts to involvement outside of the classroom. Although I received better answers when interviewing, I could have used more interviews. More interviews would have given more depth to my findings, and assist on gauging various suggestions on how to accommodate the adult learner.…

The instruction for the participants will be organized in a sequential order which will become more complex as the training progress. The simplest form of providing a construct would be to define diversity and inclusion. To make this effective, we would look at a wide view of the two terms, but then we would look at a narrow view. We would allow the participants to gain a better understanding of the use of the terms. After this has been completed, we would be able to move forward to talk about diversity strategies.…
