The first reason the Roman Empire had a better government than Greese is because of the Roman senate. The Roman senate was made up of 300 men who inherited their spots. The group of men in the Roman senate were responsible for war policy, controlling lands, government decisions and making laws. The Roman government having the Roman senate was good because the senate was there way of keeping the government stable. In the Roman senate there were only 300 men which is a very small number of people for the responsibility that they had. It was very hard to be in the Roman senate because you would have to inherit your spot from a family member who also was part of the senate.
