The Greenland Shark can live for over 200 years, it can also grow up too 15 feet which is the size of a School Bus. Although the population of the Greenland shark is low it is not yet known if it yet a endangered species. Most greenland shark and actually as blind as a bat because there are parasites living in the eyes called ommatokoita which are permanently attached to the edges of there eyes. These parasites are usually about 30mm long, although these parasites make them blind it also helps the Greenland shark by acting as if they are fish hooks so they draw in fish close enough so it's easy for the shark to catch prey.
