In Greenhill’s defense our center strives on being able to say that through free play children learn how to problem solve. At Greenhill Early Childhood Center we know that in the early stages social and problem solving skills are an important part of the foundation they need to move on to the next level. Early childhood sets the foundation that children need to be successful in the continuing of their education. Greenhill in no way will jeopardize that because according to NAEYC(2017) free play not only assist children with learning to solve problems it also helps them to build their vocabulary skills and furthermore helps them with conservation.
