College located at 12401 SE 320TH ST in the City of Auburn, King Co, WA for a recovery of a stolen vehicle. Dispatch advised a Kent Police Officer who is part of the Auto Theft Task Force, stated there was possible an unoccupied blue Ford pickup with an Idaho plate, but unknown what the number was.
Officer T. Nunn arrived to assist me in searching the parking lot of the college and informed me that the truck was possibly related to this case. Officer Nunn went on to say Auburn Police detective D. Burney had put out an "Attempt to Locate/BOLO for a stolen 2005 blue Ford F-250 ID/K17560T". I later printed a copy of the BOLO and included it in the case jacket.
Officer Nunn and I located the above blue ford in the gravel parking lot just east of the college dorms. The truck was unoccupied, and I did not see anyone around the truck. …show more content…
I checked the vin of the truck and it matched the stolen hit for the above truck.
The truck was confirmed as a stolen vehicle by dispatch.
I observed the driver's door lock had been punched out, but the windows were slightly fogged and I could not see if there was ignition damage.
Officer Nunn located an Oregon license plate OR/T583455 in the bed of the truck stuck at the bottom of the tailgate. Officer Nunn checked the plate through WACIC/NCIC/DOL via dispatch, but it returned no record. Officer Nunn placed the plate back into the bed of the truck. It should be noted Officer Nunn was not wearing gloves when he handled the license plate.

Officer Nunn requested a Valley Tow for an impound because the BOLO for the truck requested the vehicle be impounded to search for
