When Roxy Plante was a baby, her parents noticed that she would cry so much that she felt extremely hot to the touch. One time, her father had to put her down because he couldn’t bear the heat to keep holding her. She was a very restless baby, but she also had an enchanting side to her. Her parents often found flower petals sprinkled in her crib. They instantly knew that she was extraordinarily different from other children.
When Roxy entered kindergarten, she became very fond of her teacher, Mrs. Smith, who often found flowers scattered on her desk upon arriving to school. She travels to less fortunate places in the world that have been invaded by combat devastation and helps rebuild their cities which have been destroyed. She supports these shattered communities by using her special powers to incinerating all the remnants left behind by warfare. She then reconstructs the land into beautiful places to dwell with crops and vegetation. Alice was once in elementary school with Roxy, and this is why she recognized that it is her, the Green Flame that she sees in the news. Alice was never a friend of Roxy’s, but she remembers that day at her kindergarten graduation ceremony where Roxy was going up to receive an award by Mrs. Smith of “Outstanding Student of the Year.” Alice always felt that Roxy was one of Mrs. Smith’s favorite students, and that she could never be as good as Roxy. Alice never felt good about herself and she was always thinking the worst of herself. Although Alice lived with her father, he never supported her with love and attention. He was an alcoholic who would often lose control and act abusive towards her mentally and physically. Little did Alice know that the relationship was damaging her and molding her into a self-seeking attention grabber with a thrill for jealousy and hatred. She craved evil deeds, which is why she called herself “Malice.” As Alice Snider watches the courageous news about the Green Flame on the news, hatred and jealousy hit its full capacity deep within her.
