Did you know that Dr. Seuss won 6 medals for all of his books combined ? He made all different types of children books, mainly rhyming. One of his popular books was called
Green Eggs and Ham, this book was published August 12, 1960. This symbolized the things we are afraid of, through two characters: Sam-I-Am and an unnamed character. In the book
Green Eggs and Ham, the character Sam-I-Am constantly persuaded the unnamed character to try the Green Eggs and Ham. The unnamed character refused every time Sam-I-Am asked him, because he was afraid to try something new. In the text Sam-I-Am says that "You do not like them. So you say. Try them ! Try them ! And u may. Try them and you may, I say. " This shows that the unknown character didn't even bother to try them before he

The text evidence showed that Sam-I-Am asked the unnamed character until he was completely worn out. All he had to do was try the food but to him that was so difficult, because he let fear get the best of him. He could have missed the best opportunity all because of fear, so if he overcame that fear nothing would be holding him back from trying the food.
Missing out on something great is horrible, because it could've been something that you enjoyed to do or eat. Facing your fear is key to the three main parts of getting past your fear.
When you actually gain the will-power to do something or to try something new, you can gain a whole new perspective on a variety of things. Facing your fear is the best part of the process because you may actually find out that you enjoy something, or like doing something. The unnamed character took a leap of faith, because he ended up trying the Green Eggs and Ham.
He finally gave in, text evidence shows this when he said " Sam ! If you will let me be, I will try them you will see... Say ! I like Green Eggs and Ham ! I do ! I like them Sam-I-Am ! ". If he would've faced his fear to begin with he would've liked them beginning without any
