Onyx - The Tribe leader who must possess the power of prophecy. The Onyx cannot speak to clan cats, the Lapis must speak for him/her.
Lapis - The speaker for the Onyx and Zircon. Must posses the empathy power.
Zircon - Four of the most sk!lled cats in the tribe. They act as deputies over the tribe. Zircon cannot speak to clan cats directly.
Quartz - A term for the warriors of the tribe.
Agate - The healer of the Tribe, does not require any specific power. Uses minerals and spiritual healing on both tribe and clan cats alike.
Pebbles - Apprentices who train under the regiments. All cats in their respective regiment train that regiment's pebbles.
Dust - The kits of the tribe.
Kunzite - She-cats expecting kits.

Cats with powers cannot choose their regiment, with the exception of the Agate, which is chosen by the ancestors in a similar manner as a Medicine Cat Apprentice would be. Cats void of powers however, can choose a regiment to go into.

Quartz Watchers - (aka Watchers) For those with the ability to cloak themselves. They keep watch over the Clan and anyone who may try to undermine the Ancients. They are like ghosts, hidden in the shadows, watching, listening, and reporting.

Quartz Trackers - (aka Trackers) Those with enhanced sight & hearing are placed in the Tracker regiment. They are often hunting and on lookout duties, and often perch along the rocky cliffs of the desert.

Quartz Sentry - (aka Sentry) Those with enhanced strength train as an elite squad of fighters, capable of aiding the clan's Warriors if need be. They are the defense of the clan, and guards for the Ancients, including the tribute area for the Cats of the Sand. The Sentry is often close to camp so they can easily protect those within the camp's
