The Respect for Women was a Greek document written by an unknown author. “Where is it? Get it!” These words would not have been said to woman, for women are not in the same class as servants; therefore, she should not be used like one. Women are used for bearing children and are greatly respected for that. The author tried to then explain that men should watch women to see the skills they possess and then men see the “ joy when your hand is with her.” Guys do not always know who to respect so they sometimes need to be told.

Countless women today are earning college degrees faster than men; therefore, there are more women in the workforce. Further, women have been gaining respect by how they compete with men within in the workforce. In the United States, there used to be no women positions; now women hold 16% of the seats in Congress and are 24% of the positions in state legislatures. Not only this, but women have also been challenging men for the presidential seat too. Recently there have been three major women that have become well known women who have built themselves up and are strong and confident role models that numerous women
