Greek Mythology: The Meaning Of Narcissism

The word Narcissist has a meaning that basically means self centered. The words actual meaning is a person who has an extremely high admiration of themselves. A narcissist is somebody who thinks the world revolves around them, or the everything is about them. This word also has a different meaning to it which is more acceptable. As it said in my resource, “ a person who suffers from Narcissism, deriving erotic gratification from admiration of his or her own mental attributes.” After more research I have found that the term narcissism came from a greek myth.
