The people of the land honored him by giving him a mystical sword blessed by the goddess that only a hero could wield. The older brother however, having been banished from the land, plotted his revenge upon his brother and the goddess. He raged a war, summoning all the creatures of the dark world to attack the land in hope to claim the power for himself. His planned failed for his brother was able to save the land by using the mystical sword and the hidden power inside him to slay his brother and bring back peace to all. The people of the land called him the hero.
This is the story told by the people of Amos, to remind them of the hardships and greatness they have overcome and more importantly to have the legend of the hero never die. Each century an new hero is chosen by the gods and each century a new evil comes forward to try to claim the power for themselves. Thus the tradition of the hero is born. The role of the hero is simple: protect the people of Amos from all trouble and harm, and more importantly, protect the sacred power of the land and the sword of the goddess from all evil.
Now as the new century comes into view, it is time for a new hero to arise and from a new evil to be banished. This time however the hero is picked by
