Have you ever stopped to think and wonder what is mythology? Well mythology is a cluster of traditional stories that expresses the beliefs or values of a group of people who are telling the story. These stories often focuses on human qualities such as good and evil. These stories are often considered to be sanctified and explains how things came to exist. The myths in these stories gave human emotions and qualities to the super-natural beings who were the heroes of these stories. The need to build structure with integrity goes back as far as recorded history. These gods and goddesses were the ones who either helped or harmed mankind as they pleased.

These myths are re-tellings of central archetypal stories that changed slightly to fit different cultures and experiences. Let us take one good example: the hero's quest as I call it, here we see that echoed throughout so many myths, such as Prometheus, the Twelve Labours of Hercules, and Osiris these stories are a type of model for young adolescents as they go through the process of growing up and accepting adult responsibilities. Another example would be from the book Myths to live by where Campbell goes into detail talking about Dante’s trip to Purgatory and hell being able to distinguish his friends. Are these myths still relavent? In my opinion, I think these myths are still relevant. For example in the bible it talks about Apocalypse and how the world is going to end. Dead again, I hear the same exact thing in National Geographics when it talks about God will put an end to the failure of humanity the way the Maya predicted. This means that the people who do the right things will be able to survive, but not in a non-worldly state. The apocalypse contains strange beasts and a resurrection of the dead. The apocalypse is where good and evil fight it out at the times of confrontation. For example, in Iran ( Zoroastrian) The savior Saoshyant and Modern Physics: Entropy and Heat
