Many responsibilities come when becoming a Greek member. Greek organizations are known to value leadership skills, brotherhood/sisterhood bonding, and academics. The goal when joining a greek organization is to improve on leadership skills, create bonds, discuss their life goals, and more. Members will become comfortable contributing in class, talk about current issues in society, discuss traditional values, and shape themselves to become a better person. They focus on the Four Pillars of Greek life. Scholarships, leadership, brotherhood/sisterhood, and service (Clayton). Greek members are required to demonstrate acts of leadership.
