My 100-inch curved smart 4-D television turned on with the sound of my voice. The couch began to move to maximize my viewing experience. A table popped up from underneath the newly installed hardwood. I could tell it would be another blissful day in the state of New Georgia. Sirens began to blare, people began to rush outside and I knew the day was about to change.

Two consecutive loud booms shook the earth more and even more smoke rose into the sky. No longer was the sky blue, it became cloudy with a reddish tint. Only darkness remained and the sound of the sirens.
It has been 1 week since what us survivors are calling the “Great Water Shortage.” No one has gotten to clean themselves so we are all badly dirty and very, very smelly. Everyday someone new is getting sick, and the lack of medicine means that they will all die unfortunately. We only have bottled water and that is running out quickly. Rival groups are starting to fight, every second of the day all we hear is the sound of guns going off. There are plenty of raids as well with groups stealing from each other or looting houses.
Almost are whole group is sick from the lack of cleanliness and medicine. We are lucky that other groups are having the same problems or we would be easy targets to kill. I think I’m starting to get sick as well writing
