The movie, The Great Gatsby is dramatic romance directed by Baz Luhrmann. This movie is for the people who really want to know what is true love and how human can change. In the movie, there are a lot of symbolic behaviors to show love. The symbolic behaviors are well combined with characters emotions. This is why I had interest this movie. Especially, through the third person 's view, the audience will experience symbolic behaviors for showing love with understanding characters thinking or emotions. This movie starts with monologue of Nick Carraway who is played by Toby Maguire. He told flashback story about rich man, Jay Gatsby who is acted by Leonardo DiCaprio. When Nick moved to East egg, New York, the New York 's stock market strikes maximum point every day and the alcohol was banned by government. But everyone got drunken more than before. Also, the whole city was kinds of constructions fields. Nick though New York was opportunity land for him but also chaos. When Nick meet Jay Gatsby, Nick was overwhelmed by him and soon he become a one of the closest friends of him. Gatsby is rich, famous , and secrete person. Nick …show more content…
This party is gorgeous and grand so that every celebrities want to come. The party is end with massive fireworks. In this scene, Jay Gatsby look at Daisy 's house. From this scene, Gatsby 's love and what he think about her are well revealed. The reason he look at the Daisy 's house is that he expect Daisy to see this. Also, he wants to show how rich he is. During the party, Gatsby shows his face and introduce himself to Nick and Gatsby tell the all truth to the golfer who is one of the closest friends of Daisy. Usually, People can not see Gatsby because he do not want to hide. But, this behavior that he shows his face and tell his all stories not only means he wants to meet Daisy, but also means he wants to have his love
