They are the ones who give life to a movie and make it realistic and relatable. The narrator Nick Carraway talks about the following characters Gatsby, Myrtle Wilson, and Daisy and Tom Buchanan in which they all help into demonstrating the purpose of this film. The Narrator who is neighbors to Gatsby is a young conservative men who hoped to find freedom in New York, he is also Daisy’s far away cousin who is Gatsby long lost love. The main character Gatsby who became a millionaire by performing under the counter business wasn’t always rich he was born to a lower class family and changed his name to forgot about his past. Meyer Wolfsheim who helped him reach his american dream by getting a big mansion that lit up beautifully at night by the beach, in addition with a lighthouse that had a green light that beamed into his direction which meant establishing a future with daisy which was his american dream but wasn’t so prosperous with his goal. Daisy, Gatsby prize possession is married to a higher classman name Tom Buchanan who is the cause of Gatsby 's death. Daisy was always in denial that the materialistic things gatsby did for her wouldn’t be enough for her to stay, since he wasn’t born rich she knew he could lose his money easily. Throughout the film the love scene was paired up with sound track and party scene was paired up with music soundtrack and dialogue that help display the whole genre or drama. For example in the scene where Jay and Daisy come together to enjoy a lavish romantic moment was paired up with a soundtrack by Lana Del Rey called “Young and Beautiful”. The song young and beautiful help build up the mood for the scene and create a unbelievable moment of love that Jay and Daisy were experiencing together as Jay takes Daisy on the tour in his millionaire mansion. This example is know as a “non-diegetic sound” were the soundtrack made an appearance for the audience but character weren 't able to hear it. In the movie many scene have paired soundtrack to make it realistic and create allusion. In the movie Gatsby hosted a big amazing party in the big mansion where people gather together drink alcohol and dance all night long. People were dancing, talking to each other, listening to music and laughing.
