Depression has always been a major problem, but in the past few years, depression and its side effects have increased drastically. This mental illness has grasped people’s lives, and has taken complete control. To some, depression seems unmanageable. About 8.41 million people per year suffer with depression. It is also stated that one out of every 4 people will experience depression. This disease is repulsive, depression sucks out the joy in people’s lives. On the bright side, whether medication or self-determination, depression is very treatable! Here are a few solutions that will alleviate your depression. For starters, surrounding yourself with positive people can bring a new strength to your life. Also, seeing the glass half full can help you view your life in a positive perspective. As a last resort you can always see a doctor, or talk with a therapist. Hopefully the first two solutions are successful, not everyone is comfortable with admitting that they are suffering with depression to another individual.
