During the past several months we have analyzed the expense between Graybar owned & staffed vehicles vs. the third party service MC Delivery. During the test period (May-Oct) the fleet was split 50/50 between Graybar and MC Delivery with a total of 16 vehicles being run daily from NWSC. Based on this analysis (last attachment) we have discovered that Graybar will realize cost savings of $225K in 2016 vs. last year. Therefore, to continue the realization of savings into 2017, I am submitting five PO’s for additional vehicles to the NWSC fleet (summary below & attachments). The test period allowed us to identify the type of vehicles that will bring the greatest flexibility and efficiency gains in the Seattle/Tacoma marketplace..
