Gray Participation Award

The gray participation award that is in my bedroom wall. Everyday I wake up it mocks me as I smile. Ironically, this award was something I treasure the most. My parents tell me “Why do you have that on your wall instead of your first place trophy.” I replied to them“The award serves as a daily reminder of my imperfections.” Eight years ago, there was a Chinese essay writing competition. Our class required people to go ,and I was chosen write the 300 word essay. I went to the test destination looking around I saw that everyone was older than me. A few moments later the proctor called our names to assign seats and later gave us our prompt. The prompt I remember like it was yesterday “Write about why you learning Chinese.” I thought really hard
