In Romans 1:21, the apostle Paul wrote that those who did not share gratitude towards God became vain and deluded; in other words, ingratitude makes for negative feelings. The act of being grateful builds positive feelings, such as that in Luke 17:11-19, where written is the Samaritan giving thanks to Jesus for curing his leprosy. The article “One Thousand Gifts, Reconsidered,” by Micha Boyett, relates to One Thousand Gifts because Boyett talks about why it is a popular book. Boyett says, “And I learned why this book, despite it’s improper grammar, is so popular: Mothers love this book because we have forgotten how to connect with God” (Boyett). Readers can find out how each article uses gratitude by using evidence. The evidence you can get from the story is when you find out that the guy is homeless, hasn't eaten for three days, and hasn't slept for two days. The homeless guy starts out being very thankful for his food, but then he starts to have terrible manners and unthankful. The evidence you can get from the poem is when it states some of the things you should be Thankful for but in a different…

You should thank God for the ability to transfer the love and mercy which our Lord has given to us onto others. Emotions really do matter, they affect students’ classroom performances, attention, decision making, and building relationships, and their health. Students want to attend school to learn, but that being said, other things happen other than getting educated. The main argument of Emotions Matter by Marc A. Brackett is, “The science of emotions provides a lens that can help us understand [students’] experiences at school and thus serve [them], ... more effectively”. Students have been emotionally affected through social media, school, and their peers. Brackett states, “the key skills of emotional intelligence are recognizing, understanding, labeling, expressing, and regulating emotions” (Brackett, 2015), society nowadays need to incorporate these…
