When I think of Grand Valley State University, the aspects that most impress me and fan my desire to immerse myself in this prestigious learning environment are Grand Valley State University’s excellent resources. In addition to having some of the most recognized and lauded faculty in world, business faculty is committed to maintaining a diverse student population. As person of Bangladeshi heritage who grew up in Dhaka, and is now planning to embark on my university studies in the United States, I see this commitment to diversity as an essential element of my ambition. From the time I was able to realize what a university was, all I heard from my friends and family was about the Grand Valley State University and the great heritage it has.

Later, as I grew older and universities took on greater meaning,my friends and my teachers, supported me to build my career on business and leadership. Since I was in High School I worked in many volunteering programs and also had led many programs under social services. I had a passion for business because from the very childhood I saw my father becoming a successful businessman and has an excellent leadership which inspires me to focus on my career in a business field.
The place where I grew up had a great historical context of business and trade. I had a skills from the time I started doing many volunteering work. I built a strong sense of leadership which makes me want to focus on Human Resources. When I was in high school I organized many social service programs like helping out the helpless ones in winter, served under a nonprofit organization who works to make the place a better society, led many football matches. At my age, few people can genuinely claim that they have had a life-changing
