Right off the bat, let's clear this up. I love the title. Absolutely love it.

When you whine and bitch that someone is a "Grammar Nazi" what you are actually saying, is "Watch out for that guy, he is smart." or "Watch out for that guy, he paid attention in school instead of fucking around in class."

The reason some people get mad at me is because I can quite often out think and out "logic" them, and then can call them on their own stupidity when they cannot figure out the proper use of words like "to, too, and two" "your and you're", "steel and steal" so on and so forth.

Samantha, I gotta disagree, see there's a difference in pointing out a spelling mistake, and just being rather rude to a person, over something petty. Instead of simply letting her know with poise, you told her to grab a dictionary, and acted as if her point was then invalid, which it isn't. The dictionary you mentioned earlier would also help you! Then, maybe, you can learn what a comma is and how to use…

After reading the article by Kyle Wiens, I actually felt quite troubled, unproportionally so for its harmless subject matter. Based on the article, Wiens almost seems to have a haughty air about him, in my opinion. I cannot exactly pinpoint at which particluar section of the article leads me to have this impression, but I believe just the general idea of the article that is not hiring qualified people based on their grammar skills), and the fact that Wiens is a self-proclaimed "grammar stickler" is what I find irksome. While I know that good grammar is extremely important, I also know that grammar, in any language, is arbitrary. So when I read about people placing quite a lot of value into grammar, I frankly find it annoying and find said people to be overly condescending.…

In essence, identifying all the tools that one could use and figuring out the situation is the key to winning an argument, because if you do not know what to use it, how could you win. In a cartoon by Metzger, the author illustrates that improper use of the English language can be “hell”. Metzger supports his claim first, by depicting a man who expresses the pain he feels when faced with improper grammar, “This is going to be painful”; second, by displaying a sign and banner with terrible grammatical errors that lead to “Grammer Hell” [sic]. Metzger’s purpose is to mock individuals who follow the crowd using incorrect grammar on a daily basis such as your in place of you are and there in place of they’re in order to raise awareness of commonplace mistakes. Based on the cartoon being located on Pinterest, Metzger is writing for educated young adults who are tired of reading grammatical errors via social media.…
