Grainger Street Monologue

december - 2014 christmas is drawing near and an eerie story is casting its shadow over Newcastle. As usual the grey sky lays like a cozy blanket over the city. Somewhere there around the christmas madness a boy is walking around. He is completely unaware of something life changing that is gonna hit his life soon. He has sandy blonde curly hair that is partially covered by a grey wolly hat, hes wearing a black warm jacket with sweatpants and vans. Wrapped under his shirt the wires from his headphones are just hanging loose on his chest while hes talking to a group of friends. Over his shoulder hangs a black backpack. They are walking up Grainger Street. With him is a boy around the same height, from far away they look a lot alike. Claiming to be half spanish Dom is known for his famous Facebook pout and his way with the ladies. (Or more like his way of harassing every lady he sees.) Walking with them is also Steven, a 5”3 something bearded man with emo traits. Being the youngest of the group he is also the most immature. Then there is skinny jack and fat jack. His eyes are sparkling with happiness and he has a big grin on his face. Life is good. He just suffered trough his last day of college before the christmas holidays today. He is so excited about just sitting by his desk all day and night drinking, eating and playing games. He can’t wait to sit up at night just looking at the moon and think as he watched everyone come and go from their houses, with his cat Koda on his lap ofcourse.
