When it comes to leaving or keeping graffiti out in the public a lot of the decisions are made by the community’s council and not the police (Horne). This definitely does not mean that the police do not have any say in the matter it is simply that the police have better things to worry about as they have said so themselves (Ross and Wright 177). This is simply a reason why Banksy, and many other graffiti artists, will get away with their work. You can be talking to someone who loves art and believes that graffiti is in no way, shape, or form a crime, but you can also talk to someone who could not care less about art automatically making them think that it is just another form of vandalism. I personally do not care much about art which is why my initial reaction to Banksy and his work being a crime or not was why is this even a question? After more research it is evident that Banksy is like no other. The inspiration he gives out, the world of graffiti he changed, and even the money and people he brings to an area to help it flourish prove that
