Hi Kids: A Short Story

Great Essays
Hi Kids! Today I'm going tell you a story about how…..
Let me just tell you the story.
When I was in the 5th grade, my school was about to close. The whole staff was freaked out! Of course the students, including me, were freaked out too because no one really knew where they will study after the school will close…

In my class I had two main friends; Kim and Joe:
Kim was an unpopular girl. She was a very wise, caring girl.
Joe was my best friend. He was, to be honest, stupid and arrogant. He was a faithful, nice kid.
And there was me, Dan. I was the smartest kid in the class, all the teachers loved me.

Mrs. Fisher was my homeroom teacher. She was a kind woman.
Mr. Brooks

Mrs. Fisher was the painting and drawing teacher.
She said: "Today we will learn how to draw graffiti". It seemed that Kim and Joe were enthusiastic to learn how to do that.

Later, after the lesson ended I walked with Mrs. Fisher and heard a very cunning dialog between Kim and Joe. It was about drawing graffiti about closing the school. Maybe, that's why they were so enthusiastic about this topic. I thought it was a joke so I continued walking.

A month later, I went to school and saw a scary, terrifying, but also amazing work of art. The whole school was covered with colorful graffiti that says: "The school won't close!". All the school was confused. Everybody ran from side to side, screaming and yelling. The staff was shocked. Everybody wondered who did that. I couldn't believe my eyes; because it was a masterpiece and because I didn't believe that my best friends would do such a thing!

So I went angrily towards Kim and Joe. Their face was terrified just as mine.
I shouted: "What were you thinking?!?"
Kim answered: "Do you actually think we did it?"
I said loudly: "You had a cunning conversation about doing the exact same thing after drawing class a month

I couldn't believe it. Why would they tell the whole school they did?
I still didn't talk to them. I didn't know who I should trust.

So, I thought: "I should solve this". I asked a lot of questions in my mind.
In the afternoon, I broke into the school and saw there were lots of security cameras. So I watched the memory from the date of the graffiti case and saw something very interesting. I saw Mrs. Fisher drawing the graffiti! I was shocked!
With no hesitation, I quickly called Mrs. Fisher for explanations. She said: "You have to understand me! Mr. Brooks told me to draw this! I don't even know why! Kim and Joe didn't really do it, it was me…. But it was Mr. Brooks' idea". I said: "What? Okay bye". I was very confused.

The next day, in the third period, Mr. Brooks took me from the class. I was very nervous. I thought: is he going to yell at me? to hit me? to blackmail me? I didn't know.
He said: "Hi Dan. I heard Mrs. Fisher told you about me." I got even more nervous.
He said: "Don't be nervous. I'm going to tell you about the reason we are closing".
I was so

When I got to Jaelee’s classroom, the children were getting ready for snack time. Jaelee came over and gave me a big hug. When I asked her how she was doing, she did not respond and just looked up at me with a smile. She was practicing writing her E’s and told me “I write them all of these” while pointing to the paper.…

In the essay “The Multifaceted Nature of Street Art” student author Theresa George utilizes approximately seven sources to describe her beliefs about graffiti. George points to the popular viewpoint of graffiti by society, as theorized by criminologists James Q. Wilson and George Kelling, as the broken window theory. George relates how this theory of ridding graffiti as soon as it appeared was utilized in many cities as a means…
