Living in Beijing, I’ve had no shortage of inspirations-- I’ve typed down essays about chewable air that makes home in peoples’ lungs, beaming white classroom walls that remind me so much of hospital surroundings, and the powerful sensation of pressure imposed by both the school and family.
It would be wonderful to write about blue skies and green grass on campus for a change. I want to list down the pleasant conversations held on crisp lawns, I want to describe the magnificence of the towering Rotunda, and I want to demonstrate the overwhelming influence of liberal freedom still roaming strong since the very early days of construction by the all mighty Thomas Jefferson. …show more content…
