She talked about Dr. King's philosophy and asked us what we know about him such as how he fought for civil rights, his motivational 'I Have a Dream' speech and famous quotes from him. She asked us to define violence and non-violence in groups. The way we defined violence was 'physically hurt someone intentionally', domestic violence, restraining, bodily damage and even cyber bullying can lead to a sort of violence. There is a difference between nonviolence and non-violence. Nonviolence is active and non-violence is not active. There are six steps of Kingian Nonviolence;
