America. Land of the free, because of the brave. We owe our liberty to our soldiers, both alive and dead. They all universally deserve our respect. White and Black. They served and fought for our country, therefore they are deserving the utmost respect. It is on the backs of the soldier that we owe our freedom, our livelihood, our country as we know it. However, today our champions struggle on the homefront. Today veterans struggle for employment, food, and lodging. Our former soldiers, either just back from the Middle East or reliving flashbacks from Korea, are battling enough problems of their own. Our veterans already battle unseen wounds, strive to keep their families stitched together, and labor to keep connections with their battle-forged
