Graduation Speech: The State Of Our Union

"The State of Our Union is strong, strong has been for the past seven, and will be for the year to come. The First Lady and I are wishing to last until eternity. I may not be present at this chamber a year from now, but I can not express how fortunate I am standing here as a human being, a citizen, an American with a Muslim father and a Christian mother, as well as the President of our beloved nation, the United States of America. Time has changed and we just have to change with it. Just like the god gifted planet of ours. You can not make America great as it is, by going back to what I inherited. You know it, I know it, and even Mr. Trump knows it. As your President, when it comes to him, I ask you to think

My fellow citizens: With every inauguration in this country we fortify the seedling of our country: the decrepit two centuries old constitution. All standing before me, we are American even though some weren't born upon American soil, but rather united on the belief that we choose to hold in an archive written centuries ago by the brilliant authors that came before us. Although these words may be documented on paper, they alone are worthless. It is our job in government to execute these duties- by the people, for the people. Since 1789 every American President who has given this address has had a common goal of economic prosperity; in conclusion, the time has come where we continue the pursuit of economic prosperity.…

I just want to start by saying that this speech is going to contain a lot of shade-throwing going towards most of the republicans running for president. So please take out you notebooks and write some notes because someone, in particular, is about to be schooled. At this moment, we are all concerned about who our next president will be. Every presidential candidate is offering the American people different changes they promise us to carry out, and sometimes they offer us too much that we think it is too good to be true. Some focus on things that are not important, such as “Is president Obama born in America?”…

Greetings, The Demokratic college student population (the vocal minority) is still an ongoing disgraceful tirade against the outcome of the Presidential election. It a blemish on the international face of America... enough already... we can only take so much of little soft faces with teary eyes shrieking social injustice obscenities, attacking people and destroying personal property... demonstrating against things that may never come to pass. It is time for them to sashay back to their safe rooms monitored by their social engineering professor with the misguided PC conscious. I find it disheartening that American 19 year old college sophomore students can let themselves be manipulated on so many issues and mentally align themselves with seasoned political propaganda specialists.…

He has a strong understanding of his audience and how to speak to them in a way that makes his message known and his notions preferable. Obama’s 2012 acceptance speech is full of rhetoric strategy and concepts that fall within the concepts of pathos, ethos, and logos. This is a speech that connects Barack Obama to his audience by use of emotion, with credible experience, and with common sense reasoning. In 2013, at Bowie State University Michelle Obama made an extremely motivational commencement speech to the graduating class. Obama’s speech was incredibly powerful and heartfelt. She talked about the possible struggles and tough times that individuals went through to become educated, the history of the school, history of how African-Americans couldn’t become educated and several other topics. However, topic in particular stood out, and it was that countless young adults just don’t care about getting an education. We are responsible for the rules we have set up and for what is and isn’t in, for determining who is and isn’t accepted. We are also responsible for forcing others to adhere to them. Whether by loud or quiet means, we’ve stated that a lack of adherence is countered with relentless hatred. We are equally responsible for whether or not we follow those rules. Yet we are free to obey and disobey these laws.…
