A recap on my life: Spring Semester has been very busy, but it has been such a great Wolf ride-this week in particular. So many things have happened recently in my life that I just want to thank everyone who has taken the journey with me! The big highlights of the week include: · Honored as ODK's Top Ten Freshman (Only ten students of the entire Freshman class at UMD recieve this honor) · Selected as an Images Tour Guide! I will now have the opportunity to show perspective students why Maryland is the right fit for them and why I love it so much · Attended Tea with Title IX- as a member of the Title IX Board Student Adivsory Board, I was invited to attend Tea with Title IX where I was able to discuss different policy improvements regarding Title IX on campus (huge shout out to NAN and Taylor for putting on a great event)…
Hi Maham, Thank you for reaching out to me today and offering me a Fall Co-op position. After our phone call, I was able to meet with one of the civil engineering advisors to discuss the position and the Rutgers co-op program requirements. I was informed that I will be able to get credits for doing this co-op by submitting a report at the end of the Fall or Spring semester. The credits can count toward my department elective class, and science elective class as well. I would prefer to work full-time as I can gain more experience cross-training between different departments and get Rutgers credits at the same time.…
Hello my name is Nyla Moore ,and I am currently a Junior in High School. I have received excellent grades throughout my years of education and this is the college I wish to attend once I graduate. I would like to know much more about your university and how I can continue further in high school to become a member of your establishment. I would be pleased if Stanford sent brochures/pamphlets, stickers, or shirts to show off this fantastic university. Thank you and have a good…
You do your absolute best and nothing less for this program. Although at times it may seem like students do not value all your hardwork and dedication just know that it does not go unnoticed by me. I wish to thank you for the countless opportunities you blessed me with. From the sole fact of just accepting me to the program, allowing me to go on the Junior Trip, and sharing memories that I will value for the rest of my life. I am deeply appreciative for it all.…
Hello all, As you all probably know, this Friday will be the 3rd Hat Day Friday out of the five that we are hosting. This Friday's theme you have the choice to wear any hat you want! Just remember that it has to be school appropriate. Another reminder to pay a dollar in the office to Mckade Eisentrager, Dylan Schnitker, or possibly Addy Bicknese. One dollar doesn't sound like a lot, but you are still making a difference in the community.…
The school year has officially come to a close! It is summer time and we are all thankful for another year completed. This past year has been one filled with laughter, tears, stress, triumph, and most importantly life changing moves of God. Through it all, we have drawn together as a family and a community. It has been through the good times and the struggling times that we have lifted each other up and continued the journey placed before us.…
Team, Together we have done some amazing work to help these young realize and fulfill their potential. Hello and welcome to Galion High School. This morning is a special morning. A morning that our staff and faculty are very proud to take the time to honor one deserving student. Today, we honor this one student with the GHS Golden Key Scholarship.…
We want to give a big congratulations to everyone, including ourselves for being here today. We all did start from the bottom, and look, the whole team is here. We are stuck in a world of problems, including ebola, global warming, smoking, and facial acne, and despite the odds we managed to graduate, so let’s give a big round of applause. We’d like to thank…
"The State of Our Union is strong, strong has been for the past seven, and will be for the year to come. The First Lady and I are wishing to last until eternity. I may not be present at this chamber a year from now, but I can not express how fortunate I am standing here as a human being, a citizen, an American with a Muslim father and a Christian mother, as well as the President of our beloved nation, the United States of America. America being a country, regardless of our appearance, nationality, race, color, or how we choose to worship or even how we arrived here, as you can see. Unlike my predecessor, myself and my administration accomplished much in the past seven years in our country' and around the world.…
We may very well never know what is behind the appeal of rejecting something that is required of you. I would complete my reading if my teacher didn’t assign it. Homework would be more of a priority if I knew it wasn’t due the next day. Studying for the SAT might interest me if college acceptance wasn’t dependent on it. These were the thoughts I carried throughout high school.…
Hello everyone, I work in the health system. I was born in Canada and moved to the U.S.A. more than ten years ago. I have a daughter. I am fascinated by the technology field and its benefits particularly in the health system. I am excited to see the opportunities and challenges ahead of us and I’ve enrolled in this certificate to start with the basis.…
Greetings, Class of 2023. Today, we get to celebrate the culmination of our thirteen years of hard work in school with graduation, and I have been asked to deliver this year’s commencement speech. I would like to thank all of the people that have brought us here: family members, teachers, principals, and people who would go out of their way to encourage us to keep trying hard even in the midst of failure. Without you, we would not be standing on this stage today. I would like to start by defining the word “commencement.”…

The Importance of Education On September the 8th 2009 the President of the United States, Barack Obama, held a “Back to School speech” at Wakefield High School in Virginia.
