Graduation Speech: Scottsbluff High School

Decent Essays
Scottsbluff High School has been an amazing place to attend for the past four years. I have always loved the atmosphere this school has offered along with the staff and other students.

Like every other high school in America all seniors look forward to graduating. This is the last step in completing the first of many parts in my life.

As graduation approaches all seniors are looking forward the lasting tradition of how our school sets up its graduation. From the walk in to the walk across the stage and pictures as we receive our diplomas. All of these steps tie in together so well to make our day very special.

To remember our experience for many years to come instead of pictures all though we appreciate them, we would much rather be able

This is our week to honor the incredible team of teachers that we are so blessed to have in Valley Falls. We truly appreciate the meaningful work that our teachers do every day, not just during this week where the accomplishments of teachers are celebrated in classrooms all across our district, state and nation. I am reminded every single day that Valley Falls teachers are dedicated to the success of each and every child. They provide hope to the most needy young citizens in our Valley Falls community. They provide stability in attitude and attention to every detail of a child’s life and they understand the profound influence they have on the lives of kids.…

There have been many teachers that have taught me alot, but one very noteworthy friend takes the top spot. I would like to honor Jeff Strobl as the light in the darkness from my deranged junior year of high school. He was not only a teacher, but a mentor that I could talk to about anything. He looks up to me similarly to that of a family member: like a son he never had. Even from the first day we met, he knew I had potential to do extraordinary things in life.…

.This is a story most people would say is the best story about a man who flew a plane ever told some would call it a myth some would call it a flat out lie but i call it a time in history to remember. this is a story of a man named Vince Sethins a man best in his flight school soon became a known flyer as he exited the school doors of his highly renowned flight school he could feel the afternoon dew on the tip of his nose. as he was parking his Aero Commander 100 for which he called the Green Gazelle given to him by his grandfather (who was the greatest pilot in his time), in his garage he saw a beautiful woman landing to make a quick pitstop, gliding along the runway in her electric blue MiG-3 plane with her curly red hair waving reminding…

Mr. Hallstrom, I would like to inform you about myself as a student in Beckman High School. Many of my previous teachers have referred to me as a person who takes tough courses and always tries to challenge himself. I always increase the hardship of my curriculum every year. Though having a slight problem with timing and due dates, I always get my work done no matter how big an assignment is. Throughout my freshman and sophomore year, I had participated in Track & Field as a triple jumper.…

If I were to imagine that I was writing a speech for my 12th grade graduation, I would think of a symbol that could represent my hard work and dedication throughout my whole school career. "The State of Our Union is strong, strong has been for the past seven, and will be for the year to come. The First Lady and I are wishing to last until eternity. I may not be present at this chamber a year from now, but I can not express how fortunate I am standing here as a human being, a citizen, an American with a Muslim father and a Christian mother, as well as the President of our beloved nation, the United States of America. America being a country, regardless of our appearance, nationality, race, color, or how we choose to worship or even how we arrived here, as you can see. Unlike my predecessor, myself and my administration accomplished much in the past seven years in our country' and around the world.…

As I stand before you tonight, I would like to recognize the many people that the Class of 2017 is grateful to have here with you all for your final high school gathering. It has been a long four years, but here you are, ready to graduate. You have worked hard to get to this point, but you could never have done it alone. You owe an enormous thank you to your parents and families, for their unconditional love and support; to the faculty and staff, the ones who educated and pushed you; and also to the community that has provided the perfect backdrop for you to grow and thrive. Because of these things, you are the people who made the biggest impact on their lives.…

The Last Year It’s the last year of high school and students would like nothing more than to walk across that stage to receive their diploma, but they have to make it through the school year first. Many high school seniors experience the slump known as “senioritis.” It causes laziness, procrastination, passiveness towards school work and truancy (Beau). Seniors have spent the past three and a half years juggling: academics, extracurricular activities, a job, and family obligations, but once they receive that golden “letter” of college acceptance, school is no longer their top priority.…

Two relatives of mine shaped up my life greatly: my father and my grandmother. Much of the reason why I’m a motivated, challenged person is because of my father. He would tell me stories of how his mother would motivate him to work hard at school. He was such a competitive person, whether it was education or sports. He would receive the top marks at his classes, and he would then go on to move to the United States in 1983 to continue his studies.…

Greetings, Class of 2023. Today, we get to celebrate the culmination of our thirteen years of hard work in school with graduation, and I have been asked to deliver this year’s commencement speech. I would like to thank all of the people that have brought us here: family members, teachers, principals, and people who would go out of their way to encourage us to keep trying hard even in the midst of failure. Without you, we would not be standing on this stage today. I would like to start by defining the word “commencement.”…

Graduation is intended to celebrate one’s efforts and highlights of accomplishments done while an individual ventured and completed their educational journey, any educational level (Elementary through University level). Recently my younger sister celebrated her graduation from high school and I celebrated my graduation from university. As everyone congratulated us for our accomplishments and hard work, I celebrated with them but also felt a sort of guilt, guilt that started from an early age in the realization of my self-endowed privilege over my mothers. In my household the importance of education was always important and seen as a priority but with this being said the background in regards to educational level from my mother it lacked far…
