Going to college had been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember. Coming in I expected many things from longs lectures, ridiculous amounts of homework, excessive essays and huge classes, but to my surprise the whole atmosphere is very similar to high school. In reality, it was a difficult journey as I gained employment and the transition was not easy as my grades reflect that in the fall of 2013. However, I quickly learned time management and how to prioritize which allowed me to become more involved on campus.
